Since Day 1 got rained out we got to see all the teams come out one more time to compete for the Showcase NYC Spring Showdown Championship. Through the scorching weather only two team we able to battle it out for the chip, Max's All Stars vs. BallErs Elite. In the preliminary game of these two teams it went down to the wire with Max's All Stars taking it by 2. The Championship was nothing less with a game of several lead changes and runs. Max's All Stars were able to make a push in the last two minutes breaking away from BallErs Elite to claim this year's Championship. Dave Seagers earned Most Valuable Player with his stellar play all day leading his team to the chip!

On May 18th, 2013 we got to see SBMNYC, Hypebeasts, Dyckman, Young Humble Talented, BallErs Elite, Max's All Stars, In Ball We Trust, Team Takeover, 2Deep, and La Familia go at each other. The competition level was high and the aura had NYC Streetball written all over it. We had alot of familiar faces out there, Brian Gardenhire, EJ Craig, and Mayo Perez (La Familia), Nate Young, Tamel Straker, and Arnell "Megaman" Milton (BallErs Elite), Kiwan Smith, Dave Seager, and Rob Thomas (Max's All Stars), Edis Dervisevic and Elvis Kukaj (Team Takeover), Michael Chavis, Tarence (2Deep) and the list goes on. Unfortunately, due to a random rain shower the tournament had to be postponed to June 1st, 2013. Here are a few flicks to hold you down until then. Below is a preview of the standings with one more round of pool play games left to play.

Showcase NYC Presents The 2nd Annual Spring Showdown

Showcase NYC is back again to prepare everyone for Summer Basketball. In the beginning of may we will be hosting our 2nd Annual "Spring Showdown" a one day tournament to show everyone what they are in for this summer. Gather up your best squad and bring them down to run. We will have a Men's, High School, and Women's Division. All players are welcomed to play but be ready to compete. For Men's it will be $425 per team and for High School and Womens it will be $325 per team, plus referee fees per game for all divisions. Deposit are due by April 30th.

Showcase NYC 3PT Shootout! Sunday, October 14th, 2012 @ 2pm

Showcase NYC will be hosting a 3-Point Contest on Sunday, Oct. 14th @ 2pm. The entry fee will be $25. Winner will receive a pair of Jordans! Hit me up ASAP to enter. Registration closes on Oct. 12th.

Shooter must shoot from 5 spots on the floor and go around the arc to the five spots. He/she will have 1:00 to make as many in as possible. Each shot counts as 1 point. Shooter is allowed to have two rebounders. Only one basketball.

There will be three rounds. Top 10 will advance to the second round. Top 5 will advance to the final round.
