Nike took over Masaryk Towers Gym gave it a full makeover. This gym was a 360 turn around. It went from dead spots and wobbly rims to a regulation sized court, new floor, paint job and Nike Swagger. December 22nd, 2011 was a good day for basketball in the Lower East Side. Nike hosted a Basketball Clinic for kids in the 7th to 10th grade with Amare Stoudemire making a guest appearance. Like I said this was a great day for basketball in the Lower East Side! We're Back!
