Pro Division Quarter Finals Match-up: (3) NY Cruisers vs (6) LES Ballers

In the regular season match-up between these two teams we had a fast-paced high scoring game with the NY Cruisers winning 93-81. LES Ballers (G) Tyvon Williams going off for a game high 34 points scoring at will from all over the court. The NY Cruisers (F) Kenny Mack wasn't fair behind finishing with 32 points muscling his way through defenders getting AND1 after AND1.

The LES Ballers have more than enough talent to take this game but it depends on their supporting cast. (G) Tyvon Williams is going to get his buckets no matter what its up to their role players like Captain (G) Joshua Pizarro, (G) Kyle Lew, Swingman, and (G/SF) Chris Diaz to get it going. They also have a great hustle player and score in Marlon Santos. Marlon can play both sides of the floor and he may give the LES Ballers that spark they need to bring this game home.

The NY Cruisers have the edge here because of their team chemistry and unselfish play. All their players stay in a good rhythm throughout the whole game. (F) Kenny Mack has been dominant in every game he has played so far, scoring at will. (G) Chris Chin has been on point all season as well hitting the jumper consistently from mid-range as well as behind the arc. Another advantage the Cruisers have is their bigs, (C) George Chan, (C) Howie Chu, and (F) Tony Hu are all capable of going off for 20 and 10 on any given day. (G) Leon Chu, (G) Ming Wang, and (G) Ian Yu will be providing the pressure on defense. (G) Ming Wang, (G) CB Liu, (G/F) Eddie Wang, and (G) Chris Chin are their knock down shooters. If the Cruisers are knocking down their outside shot with all their shooters the game will open up for the bigs and this could get ugly.

Predictions: If the Cruisers can contain (G) Tyvon Williams then this game will be in the bag but if he goes off who knows what's going to happen. We see the Cruisers taking this one by like 8-10 points.

Game is still on for today 9/5/2012 at 6pm at COLUMBUS PARK!
